Kai Riedl

Kai Riedl

Kai Riedl is a director, programmer and producer of music and technology events and specializes in merging creative culture, entrepreneurship and the public sphere. He is the founder and director of the Slingshot festival of music, electronic art and tech in Athens, Ga., and in 2016. Kai took the role as the executive producer of Moogfest and also headed roles as the Head of Innovative Curation at Moogfest, Head of Institutional Partners and others. Working as a creative strategist, marketer, curator and entrepreneur, Kai has brought national bands, brands and a variety of efforts together in singular ways.

Vivek Boray

Vivek has a special interest in the developing technology ecosystems in the global south. He also works on film, music, and art creation, curation and production.  In 2015 and 2016, Vivek worked with ReProduce Artists, a Delhi-based agency, to develop and curate the first showcases ever in SXSW history to focus exclusively on avant-garde musical production out of South Asia.  He has a monthly show, Nostalgia For An Age Yet To Come, on and is a strategic advisor to, India’s first independent community radio station, and is part of the core team of Azadi Records, India’s most prominent independent hip hop label.

Ben Coolik

Ben Coolik is a collaborative artist across multiple disciplines including production design for both film and stage, lighting design, music production, intermedia performance art and acting. With a background in finance and with an incessant entrepreneurial itch, he is an eclectic member of the Slingshot Creative team. Ben recently wrapped up production design on the Bo Bartlett film, Things Don’t Stay Fixed (2019). He was awarded a joint residency with sixteen artists at The Kitchen (NYC) to create interdisciplinary performance art, and he has designed lighting for numerous dance companies including the intermedia performance collective Double Vision at the Merce Cunningham Studio (NYC). His published writings include a contribution to the USITT book, Late & Great American Theatre Designers, 1960-2010 and numerous articles covering technological innovations in stage design in Lighting & Sound America magazine. Suny Lyons

Suny Lyons is a web & app developer, designer, recording engineer and performer from Athens, GA who is best known for his work with Cindy Wilson (The B52s). 

Chiraag Bhakta

Chiraag Bhakta is an artist and designer currently living in San Francisco. He has been working under the pseudonym Pardon My Hindi since 2002.
